The Savannah Baptist Center exists to bring glory to God by bringing churches, groups and individuals together to serve and meet the needs of our community!
Our food pantry is running critically low on many items right now. As of this morning (October 30), we have given out 398 bags of groceries this month--which is the most we have given out in a month all year.
We have seen an increase in referrals from case workers as well as our usual clients. Like many food pantries right now, we are anticipating increased need in the coming weeks.
ANY shelf stable food is helpful right now. We are currently out of peanut butter, jelly, canned chicken, shelf-stable milk, chili, spaghetti, and rice.
Donations can be dropped off at 704 Wheaton St. Monday-Thursday 9am-2:30pm. If you would like to donate monetarily you can do so on our website at https://abundant.co/sbcgifts/give If you give through our website, please notate in the memo that it is designated for food pantry.
If you cannot give right now, we would greatly appreciate sharing of this information. Thank you for your support as we serve God by meeting the needs of the community!
